JRE Sells Out: Snugg iPad Mini Retina Case

So the fine folks at TheSnugg.com emailed me and asked me if I’d like to review one of their iPad Mini cases. Parma Chameleon

Your editor was out last night catching up with a few old friends at the Comfortable Chair pub in Brunswick. The English-language version of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (warning: annoying sound) has just hit the stores over here. And it looks amazing at 1080p. If this is what the future looks like, then I for one welcome our high-definition overlords. Oh, and it finally has Ferraris, ten-and-a-half years after the first game was released. (Some antialiasing wouldn’t hurt, though. I mean, jeez, FSAA has been available in PC games for about ten years now.

But this is HDTV: it’s got better resolution than the real world.

If you haven’t seen Planet Earth in Blu-Ray, you’re missing out on a treat. Bonus JRE-Keeps-You-Entertained-All-Weekend Sunday Special: if you thought Planet Earth didn’t have enough swearing, you’ll enjoy this. Warning: may contain swearing. (Via the normally tasteful and erudite MetaFilter.)
