Area man grows giant lemon; Greece sues for copyright infringement

STOP THE PRESSES, shouts the Border Mail, on what must’ve been a hell of a slow news day:

Ken Edgar has been growing lemons for 11 years but none larger than the 1.36-kilogram giant he picked last week.

And the lemon will be going to a good home:

Mr Edgar has given his lemon to JT’s Takeaway in Ebden Street, Albury where it is now on display. Then it will go to a noble use — cut up into wedges to be squeezed on takeaway fish orders.

Meanwhile, Greece has launched a massive copyright infringement suit; “we’re the world’s biggest lemon!” said George Papandreou.
