Your daily typography

Sadly it isn’t in Gill Sans, originally uploaded by Shiny Things.

This is one part of Eric Gill’s sculpture piece “Alphabets and Numerals”, on display in the V&A Museum. When he wasn’t carving sculpture or having affairs, Gill was an accomplished typographer, designing Perpetua and the stupendously popular Gill Sans (used at various points by Penguin Books, Saab, the BBC, and the Church of England).
