Delicate Arch

Oh wow – forgot to post this from back at Moab.

This is Delicate Arch, the highlight of Arches National Park. You can hike up there and stand underneath it, but it’s a two-hour round trip. Or you can lug a 300mm lens up to the upper viewpoint, which is only a half-hour roundtrip. Easy.

Here’s some more arches, and some rather cool 13th-century petroglyphs from Capitol Reef National Park.

There appears to be someone who did make the two hour trip ruining your photo just a little bit. Useful size comparator though.
