Brains. Braaaaiiinnns.

Coming soon to Amazon: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: The Classic Regency Romance – Now with Ultraviolent Zombie Mayhem! Quoth the synopsis:

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies features the original text of Jane Austen’s beloved novel with all-new scenes of bone-crunching zombie action.

They might be on to something here. There are plenty of books in the Penguin Classics catalogue that could do with a dose of “bone-crunching zombie action”. How about Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s Love in the Time of Zombies? Immanuel Kant’s Critique of Zombie Reason, with its epic hundred-page discourse on the difference between “braaains” and “braaaiiinnns”? Or John Updike’s The Zombies of Eastwick?

(If this trend spreads to business books, I’m crossing my fingers for Traders, Guns and Zombies. How awesome would that be?)
