Alas, poor Lehman; I knew him, Horatio.

A bank of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy…

Lehman Brothers is running out of suitors, and may be forced to file for bankruptcy this morning.

Merrills and AIG are in the crosshairs next. This is looking suspiciously like the last act of Hamlet (or maybe Reservoir Dogs).

Update: Wow. No more Lehmans, no more Merrills, and possibly no more AIG. This is, by any standard, Epic Fail.

Huh. I was just reading about the suicide of David Foster Wallace. His opus was titled Infinite Jest.
