Suggestion 1: Sell it and buy a Mac

Via Berno: a user-created index of Windows Vista user-interface bugs is suddenly drawing the attention of the Windows user experience team inside Microsoft (and even of the tech journalists at the Guardian).

Here’s the Windows UX (User Experience) Taskforce site. If you have a Vista UI quirk that drives you up the wall, submit a screenshot and a problem description. And even if you don’t have a quirk of the week you can still join in the fun; there’s Digg-style voting on each quirk. (The current second-place winner is the hell that is the permissions editor.)

(Ed note: if you’re not reading the I Started Something user-interface blog that launched the above site, you really should. Would you believe it’s written by a fourth-year Monash undergrad?)
