If you saw four copies of the “It’s Tuesday!” post, or if you saw the front page in bright red instead of its usual blue, don’t worry - the JRE database puked its guts up during the day, so I’ve spent the afternoon fixing it.
And drinking coffee.
I keep rambling on about how awesome the coffee in Melbourne is, compared to Singas, but there’s a reason for that - it’s true. I’ve been drinking three cups a day since I came here, because it’s so damn good.
Melbourne coffee is strong and bitter, packed with flavour. It’s made by friendly baristas and isn’t too expensive. Singaporean coffee is… none of those things. (To be fair, Leo’s is pretty good - and surprise surprise, it’s run by an expat Melburnian.)
