Fog is an omnipresent part of summer on the California coast. Cool, humid ocean air rolls in over the warm coast, and the vapor precipitates into fog – which gives you scenes like this. It can be a clear summer’s day where you are, but half a mile down the road (or over the other side of the coastal hills) it can be cool and foggy.
