This is the Hogsback – the stretch of road I mentioned in the last post that runs along a ridgeline high in the mountains of Utah.
And that’s a Corvette ZHZ. 436 horsepower. A 6.2-litre V8 (incidentally, the same engine that HSV uses for all of its V8 models).
And when you plant your foot on the loud pedal and shove it up past 3500 revs (where the dual-mode exhaust kicks in), it makes a noise like… well… you know the THX sound that makes people’s heads explode?
