On Sunday night, I made a flippant comment that there was a run on the Icelandic currency. Just goes to show, you should always save the hyperbole for when you really need it: on Monday, the ISK lost one-third of its value. Bit of a shame really, Iceland’s quite nice.
Here’s a chart of yesterday’s move – it opened at 165 to the EUR, and closed at about 230 to the EUR.
