I jumped on a boat down to Greenwich today.

It’s worth a trip if you’re a nerd. The Greenwich Observatory (right up on top of the hill in Greenwich park, and it has great views over Canary Wharf, as per the photo) is full of astronomical and horological exhibits: original telescopes from the 1800s, chronometers that helped ships navigate around the world back in the 1700s, a four-and-a-half billion year old meteorite, and a nifty planetarium. In fact, it’s worth a trip even if you’re not a nerd.
