Quick hit – Meiji Jingu

I’m writing from the ANA lounge at Narita, waiting for my flight to LAX (and the subsequent flight to SFO). (The lounge has free wifi and free sake, so I might try and miss my flight.)

To tide you over: here’s some photos from my trip a couple of days ago to the Meiji Jingu (Meiji Shrine). This is the inner courtyard of the shrine; the wood is Japanese cypress, which gives the entire complex a slight smell of conifer.
