If the previous post wasn’t enough airplane tomfoolery for you, here’s a video of the famous runway 13 approach into Hong Kong’s old Kai Tak Airport. The aircraft pulls out of its bank at about 150 feet above ground.

Unfortunately, Kai Tak was closed ten years ago; it’s slowly being redeveloped into a residential area. These days, Hong Kong runs from Chek Lap Kok airport, which is in the middle of nowhere, and doesn’t have nearly as interesting an approach.
