JRE’s Year In Review: February

Some say that it’s written by Pamela Anderson under a pseudonym; and that if you read it upside down in a mirror, it spells out the date of the next credit crunch. All we know is, it’s called JRE’s Year In Review.

In February:

Red Kite Management took a multi-billion-dollar kicking in base metals; Amaranth rogue trader Brian Hunter sues for copyright infringment … HSBC increased their bad debt provisions in their American mortgage operations, but nobody paid attention because house prices never go down, right? … a psychic museum closed due to unforeseen circumstances … a poll found that if an election was held immediately, John Howard would lose his seat, but nobody paid attention, because the sitting prime minister never loses his seat, right? …

And there was some breaking news on JRE.
