The “hero” tag belongs here somewhere

Pro-freedom, anti-hippie pundit P.J. O’Rourke, author of pieces like How to Drive Fast on Drugs While Getting Your Wing-Wang Squeezed and Not Spill Your Drink (nsfw, obviously) and How to Explain Conservatism to Your Squishy Liberal Friends, turned 60 last week.

He’s the most-quoted person in The Penguin Dictionary of Modern Humorous Quotations, and apparently he was foreign-affairs desk chief at Rolling Stone for about a decade. Side question, why does a music magazine have a foreign-affairs desk?
