Oh Microsoft, dear Microsoft

A couple of weeks ago on in this space, I whinged at length about my dead Xbox, and how I’d have to pay through the nose to send it back to Australia. The alternative involved paying quite a lot of money to re-buy my console and games in NTSC-Japan (Singapore’s Xbox region), so I sucked it up and sent it off.

Microsoft received the package last Friday. They’d already posted it when I called on Monday morning to check that it’d turned up. On Wednesday night(!), there was a “we-missed-you” note under my door from DHL… and now it’s Thursday night, and I have my big white box back.

Dear Microsoft, how do I love thee, let me count the… what? Microsoft outsources their xbox repair? To who?…
