Where to eat in Singapore, part infinity-plus-one

There is an even better noodle bar than this one. If you’re handy with a pair of chopsticks, grab a taxi to the Gallery Hotel at Robertson Quay and sit down in the little ramen bar on the ground floor.

It’s $12.50 for an enormous bowl of top-notch ramen (with udon noodles and seaweed imported from Hokkaido), and you can even order gyoza (pan-fried pork dumplings – American readers might know them as ‘potstickers’) from the restaurant next door – not exactly good for you, but immensely tasty.
