Nobody ever dies wishing they’d spent more time at the office

A study conducted at Columbia University (link via Boing Boing) has found that in the short run, we feel more regret about slacking and enjoying ourselves than we do about forsaking fun for working hard and earning money.
But in the long run, we most regret the time we spent working, rather than the time we spent having fun.
Couldn’t they have conducted this study 23 years ago?
