FF7:AC’s dirty little secret

Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children (now on DVD at any self-respecting video store) is not telling a story. It’s not a demonstration of Square Enix’s CG movie capabilities. And it’s not about closure.
It’s an open letter to Generation Y: Hey youngins, THIS IS WHAT NOSTALGIA FEELS LIKE!! YOU’LL BE FEELING THIS FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!! AHAHAHAHAHA!!!

    Actually, it can be both.
Also, I adored Advent Children, even though I couldn’t get through FF7. I should borrow Joel’s copy and try again.
Once I finish San Andreas and FF10 and Liberty City Stories….

And by “both”, I mean all of those.
And also, at the end, Tifa’s expression looking at Cloud – can be best summed up with a paraphrase from scrubs –
“[Cloud’s] gonna be walking sideways like a crab for the rest of his life cause she will have used ALL of his up and down.”
